What you can choose.
- Translation
- None (just remove the subtitles), or one of 17 languages for translated subtitles.
- Original subtitle language
- When translating: Chinese or English reads best; other languages are supported too.
- Subtitle position
- Bottom for most films and dramas, top, or anywhere in the frame. Anywhere also removes other on-screen text that looks like subtitles.
- Subtitle look
- Standard for plain text; Stylised for shadows, outlines or animated text.

Good to know.
Can it remove logos or watermarks?
No. It only removes subtitle text, and you should have the rights to the video you edit.
Where do the translated subtitles go?
Near the bottom of the frame, at the original size.
Does it translate speech too?
It translates the on-screen subtitles. For spoken words, use Auto Captions.
How long can a clip be?
In the studio, up to 10 minutes and 2 GB per run. The whole clip is processed, so trim longer videos first.
